Travel Requirements to Major Domestic Airports in the Philippines (Updated: January 13, 2023)
A guide to the current domestic travel protocols within the Philippines
Previously I have written about the current varying post-pandemic domestic travel protocols within the Philippines, so I decided to do more research on what requirements are needed if you decide to visit the destinations in the country beyond the international gateways such as Manila and Cebu.
Below is the list of the travel requirements to major principle domestic airports in the country, which I will update regularly. Details on updates will be listed below.
The list can be seen online and shared from here.
If you are a representative of a local government unit listed and would like to issue an update or correction, you may email me at jeffrey.teruel@flightsinasia.com.
Updates:
January 13, 2023 (0830H PH): LAOAG - After a phone call with a representative of Ilocos Norte Tourism Office, I have updated the information to state the requirement to present proof of vaccination or a negative test result (RT-PCR or Antigen).
January 12, 2023 (1000H PH): Added more cities including Cebu Pacific destinations not previously listed. Updated the status of cities such as Dipolog, Tuguegarao, and Pagadian which previously was listed with light restrictions. The source is from Cebu Pacific’s Facebook Messenger Chat response regarding travel requirements as seen below.
